Each Trainee Officer shall undertake a Project individually, which should contain actual field data. The Conclusion / Recommendation should be practically implementable and useful to Railways.
There shall be a Written Examination of maximum 50 Marks in each of the Eight Subjects mentioned above. The Written Exam shall contain questions of both subjective and objective type. The Project shall also carry 50 Marks. The minimum Passing Marks are 60% in each Subject. Two nos. of trainee officers (one scoring overall highest marks and other making best Project) from each IC Course, are awarded Medals in Passing Out Ceremony.
